Welcome
to Digital Photography! Some of you may be taking this class for fun,
some for art credit, and some for technology credit. Hopefully you
will all get a little bit of each of these elements in this class
– we will be floating between the realms of art and technology
through the use of a computer and digital camera, and I’ll be
disappointed if you don’t have some fun at some point in the
semester. This is neither strictly a technology class nor strictly
an art class. It is a class about learning and about process –
you will each get as much out of the course as you put into it, and
the benefits you receive can help you take (and manipulate) better
photographs for the rest of your life.
